Perfect Open Day conditions - very light then slowly building to moderate over several hours.
Nearly a week later and I still have bruising and some scabs - clear signs of a recent IG clash

We only managed to get 2 races away, but they were spectacular.
Arrr – the perfect summer’s day! Warm gentle breezes, clear water, super flat sea state … and four v late rigging and panicking R crews. Only the first three occurrences are unusual ‘round here.

Races for all classes start at 11:00, high tide is approx 12:45.
The forecast said 8 to 10 knots – and hence it was looking to be a good day to get a few new sailors out.
Think: herding cats. Attempting to get a group of over powered small sail craft to the start line, more-or-less at the same time, was proving to be futile.
