Super R Sleuth Philip "Asti" Royds has tracked down the whereabouts of R 134 "Tarka"
The old girl is alive and well having been lovingly restored by Simon Cole-Baker. It still has its original rig and old wooden kite pole, although the kite is being flown off a prod in the picture.
Simons parents run, www.tidesong.co.nz, a bed and breakfast on the shores of the estuary.
