The fleet is slowly building and we now have 6 hydrofoil equipped boats in Canterbury with one still underway. Thanks to Sutter Schumacher for the photos
Sunday 9th of January's slowly building easterly provided nice conditions for 4 foilers out after lunch. Unfortunately due to other commitments, Kevin and Doug, had to launch a bit later once the breeze was over 20kts and the chop had got quite steep. This, coupled with a setup problem, made for some impressive launch sequences.
Most of the regular boats are now on foils and everyone is quickly coming to terms with setup and handling. There are still a number of things to sort out, but we're looking forward to getting back into some good fleet racing.
