Charteris Bay Yacht Club hosted the final 3 races of the 2005 Canterbury Championships.

Canterbury Show weekend saw the Nelson Yacht Club again hosting the annual Ruddiman Trophy Regatta.
Canterbury Championships NPCL
The first weekend of the two weekend racing for the 2005 Canterbury Championship was held at NPCL.
Awesome Sunday sailing
Nuplex and Subwoofer enjoyed the solid 18-20kt NE conditions with a moderate chop.
Great conditions, great racing
Close summer racing in a pleasant 12-14kt NE.
25-35kt Northerly, R class squadron to the rescue.
Wild gusty conditions provided, great entertainment for land lubbers, one hospital trip, and a TY and Zephyr rescue.

Another perfect Akaroa day, with hot and sunny conditions, a moderate southerly sea breeze and closeup spectator action.

Aucklanders Paul MacIntosh and Kenny Fyfe have won the 56th R Class National Championship from Canterbury's Nuplex Davie Norris sailed by Sean Milner and Dan Leech.
